Session Agenda:

Warm start
We kick things off with a light icebreaker—a fun question or space to share a win.

Mini Lesson
Your coach will present a 3-5 minute mini lesson to teach you more about your ADHD. Each mini lesson also includes a strategy and/or a resource you can try.
All Mini Lesson slides are also shared with you at the end of each week!

Coaching Begins
People who have signed up for coaching spots for that session will each receive about 15 minutes of 1:1 coaching from the coach. People who have signed up in listening spots get to listen in and learn as well as offer support and ideas to the person being coached (or they can body double and get some work done!).

Supportive close-out
At the end, the coach checks in with everyone to celebrate progress, identify action steps, and wrap up before everyone logs off.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many people are in a group?

Currently, no more than 8 people in a group.

Will I get coached in every session I attend?

Up to 3 people get coaching in each session. The other people in the group listen, learn, contribute ideas and support, or they can body double.

Boost members (1x Weekly Group) get coached at least once a month if they like.

Pro members (Unlimited Group) get coached at least once per week if they like.

Is Group Adults Only?

Yes.

What can the coach support me with?

You can work on regular day-to-day things or larger goals.

Some ideas:
Prioritizing the day’s to do list
Preparing for a conversation about work accommodations
ADHD Friendly motivation strategies
Creating an ADHD friendly routine
Brainstorming solutions to lowering screen time
Dealing with overwhelm
… and anything else that’s coming up as a challenge or a goal you want to work on!

What if I don’t know what I want to get coached on?

That’s okay! We have tools and questions that we can use with you to help you identify areas you may need support in.

What is Body doubling?

It’s a productivity strategy where you have someone present with you while you work on hard-to-initiate or hard-to-finish tasks. For us, it looks like being on a Zoom call with other people also working on their own tasks!

Getting coached in front of others sounds scary?!

Eek yes! It can definitely be scary to open up in front of others. But I promise that by the end of the hour, you’ll feel welcomed, seen, and supported. Others in the group are just like you and we all validate each other. If you’re working on more self-kindness and acceptance with your ADHD, group is a great place to find that. Plus, this means you get to listen and learn from others being coached!

What if I decide Group isn’t for me?

No problem! There’s no long term commitment, and you can cancel at anytime (hassle-free!) via a quick email or by letting the coach know in a session.

Who hosts the groups?

I currently host and coach 3 sessions per week (I’m scaling back as I prepare for maternity leave in March!), and other sessions are hosted by my amazing associates.

Finally finish your To Do list with Body Doubling.

A 24/7 virtual co-working space designed to help you get things done.

No need to schedule, just pop in when you need accountability. Stay for five minutes or five hours.
Your success starts by showing up and moving something forward.

24-Hour Room
  • Always open: Log into the Zoom room anytime, day or night.
  • Quiet focus: Work alongside others without pressure.
  • Optional connection: Say hi, share your goals, or just quietly get to work.
Proctored Hours

During the week, a monitor or coach is present to body double with you during certain times. Expect greetings, light prompts, and a buddy to celebrate with when you complete your tasks!

Current proctored hours (CT):
Morning planning: Monday–Friday, 9am and 11am
Mondays: 2:30–7:30pm
Tuesdays: 9:30am–2pm
Wednesdays: 4–7:30pm
Thursdays: 10:30am–2pm
Fridays: 2pm-4pm
(Times may shift occasionally.)

Why does It Work?!

Body doubling is powerful because our brains focus better when others are around. When we work in community, distraction decreases and even stress feels lighter. Simply showing up alongside others makes tasks easier to start and easier to finish.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I start working with you?2024-08-22T11:28:51-04:00

The first step is to book a Discovery Call, which is a free 15-minute consultation for 1:1 Coaching. We will discuss your goals and how coaching works and decide if we are a good fit for working together.

If you’re interested in Group Coaching, you do not need a Discovery Call and can sign up whenever you are ready!

Why aren’t there any Discovery Calls available?2024-08-22T11:25:46-04:00

Discovery Calls can only be booked out one week in advance. If the schedule shows there’s nothing available, it just means there’s nothing available in the next week. Check back tomorrow morning and try to book the spot that opens up for the following week. I take Discovery Calls on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

If you are serious about coaching but having trouble getting a Discovery Call time, don’t hesitate to email me (kelly@kellybaums.com) and I’ll open something up for you!

What is a coaching session like?2024-08-22T11:53:27-04:00

Coaching sessions are 45 minutes long and generally follow the structure below:

  • Identify what the focus of the session will be

  • Determine a desired outcome or measure of success for the focus

  • Explore the topic through thoughtful questioning

  • Discuss the unique ways ADHD may be impacting the challenge

  • Collaborate to build a tool/solution/plan to take a step toward the desired outcome

  • Review action items and new understandings

Coaching is a time when we sit down together and take a deeper look at something that’s going on in your life. I support you in understanding how your brain works, recognizing patterns, updating belief systems, and finding meaningful solutions for whatever you’re struggling with at the moment.

How much does it cost to work with you?2024-08-22T11:25:18-04:00

Please see the graphics above for details on my coaching packages and rates.

Do I have to have an ADHD (or ADD) diagnosis to work with you?2024-08-22T11:24:40-04:00

I work with clients whether they have a diagnosis or not.

*and here’s a link to an article about ADD vs. ADHD.

Is there ever homework?2024-08-22T11:22:30-04:00

Usually at the end of a session clients will leave with something to try out or work on. I prefer to call them “experiments” because the goal is less about completion, and more about testing out tools and learning about what works best for you.

Do you work with people outside the US?2024-08-22T11:20:52-04:00

Yes! I work with people from all around the world.

What types of things can I talk about in coaching?2024-08-22T11:20:30-04:00

Coaching is about meeting you where you’re at and helping you get to where you want to be. Typically we focus each session around one or more specific areas you’d like to grow in. They can be ADHD specific, but they don’t have to be.

Some ideas:

  • Emotional regulation

  • Motivation & task initiation

  • Maintaining healthy relationships

  • Setting boundaries

  • Managing stress, overwhelm, and burnout

  • Perfectionist tendencies

  • Routines and habits

  • Deciding what’s important and what to let go of

  • Prioritizing/managing tasks and time

  • Breaking down big goals and difficult tasks

Additionally, some clients will choose to use our time just chatting and getting clarity about how ADHD is showing up in their life, or they’ll ask me to sit with them while they clean out a closet or start on a task they’ve had difficulty starting on. You’re welcome to use our time together however it’ll help you most.

How is ADHD Coaching different from regular life coaching?2024-07-12T16:48:14-04:00

ADHD coaching is similar to regular life coaching, but it takes place within the lens of ADHD. Our brains function differently and learning to support and appreciate those differences is something an ADHD Coach can help you do!

Do you accept insurance?2024-08-22T11:13:55-04:00

Are you LGBTQIA+ Friendly?2024-10-16T16:55:44-04:00

Yes! 🤍

Do you work with couples?2025-09-05T17:36:04-04:00

Yes! My associate, James, specializes in working with couples. If you’d like to learn more about him, schedule a Discovery Call with me!

How does the subscription/billing work?2025-11-24T21:34:32-05:00

(Answer applies to both Group and 1:1 Coaching)

All billing for coaching is done on a monthly subscription (because we all have ADHD here and invoicing any other way gets very messy). There’s no long-term commitment and you can pause or cancel your subscription at any time.

The day you start your subscription becomes your billing date, and you’ll be billed monthly on that date until you pause or cancel the subscription.

Pauses last for 1 month and resume on your billing date the following month (great for vacations or busy holiday seasons!).

When you’re ready to pause or cancel, just let your coach know or send an email to hello@kellybaums.com!

Can I cancel at any time?2025-11-24T21:39:15-05:00

Yes! There’s no long term commitment for 1:1 or Group Coaching. You can cancel or pause at any time. See the Subscription/Billing question for more info.

Tammy

Kelly was a true lifesaver for me. I was going through a very stressful period in my life and with my adhd had been unable to really move forward. I met with Kelly almost weekly through this and was able to get through it all by the deadline I had .she is wonderful and I would highly recommend her to anyone!!!

Jamie

I have had an excellent experience working with Kelly! When we started our coaching sessions, I was still learning about my ADHD and how it affects my life. Kelly was able to meet me where I was and provide achievable, individualized strategies to understand and manage my ADHD. She is non-judgemental, patient, thoughtful, organized, and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend Kelly if you are looking for an ADHD coach!

Rachel

Kelly is a great ADHD coach! She is kind, supportive and helps you find real solutions to everyday ADHD struggles. She guided me through healthy habits, scheduling, budgeting, rejection sensitivity and more! I looked forward to each meeting and felt more at ease/confident afterwards.
