What You Can Work On

Coaching meets you where you're at.

Sessions can focus on ADHD-specific challenges or any area you want to grow in.

Emotional regulation
Motivation & task initiation
Maintaining relationships
Setting boundaries
Managing overwhelm & burnout
Perfectionist tendencies
Routines and habits
Prioritizing tasks and time
Breaking down big goals

In your first session, you and your coach will create a list of goals and challenges to work on. Each week, you'll choose a focus from that list (or something current), and leave every session with a clear action step or solution to try to improve that area of your life!

Frequently Asked Questions

The first step is to book a Discovery Call, which is a free 30-minute consultation for 1:1 Coaching.

We will discuss your goals, how coaching works, and which coach we think will be a great fit for you!

You can peek at each of the coach's profiles in the About section of the site.

Discovery Calls can only be booked out one week in advance.

If the schedule shows there's nothing available, it just means there's nothing available in the next week. Check back tomorrow morning and try to book the spot that opens up for the following week.

I take Discovery Calls on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

If you are serious about coaching but having trouble getting a Discovery Call time, don't hesitate to email me ([email protected]) and I'll open something up for you!

Coaching sessions are 45 minutes long and generally follow the structure below:

  • Identify what the focus of the session will be
  • Determine a desired outcome or measure of success for the focus
  • Explore the topic through thoughtful questioning
  • Discuss the unique ways ADHD may be impacting the challenge
  • Collaborate to build a tool/solution/plan to take a step toward the desired outcome
  • Review action items and new understandings

Coaching is a time when we sit down together and take a deeper look at something that's going on in your life. I support you in understanding how your brain works, recognizing patterns, updating belief systems, and finding meaningful solutions for whatever you're struggling with at the moment.

Please see the pricing section above for details on my coaching packages and rates.

No, we work with clients whether they have an ADHD diagnosis or not. We also have coaches that specialize in other types of neurodivergence.

Think less "homework" and more "action step." Often at the end of the session, you'll leave with some sort of tool, strategy, understanding, or small clear step to try to help you move toward your goals!

Struggling with follow-through is totally normal for ADHD brains! And all of the coaches here are experienced at supporting clients who struggle with follow-through. We have lots of ideas to support you and help you make progress toward your goals!

Yes! Several of our coaches are based outside the US and we work with people from all over the world.

No, we do billing on a monthly basis with the option to pause or cancel at any time!

As you'd probably guess, this is totally individual! But what I notice is that some people come in with a very narrow, single focus like needing support for being more productive at work. These clients may just need a little boost of coaching and may stay for just 2-3 months. Other clients come in with a broader multitude of focuses, like work productivity, relationship communication, emotional regulation, and keeping up around the house. These clients often stick around longer, say for 6 months, 9 months, or over a year, since there's more to work on. Either is fine, and we are here to support you for as long as you need it!

In 1:1 coaching, your coach will check in with you each and every session on the action items you decided upon in the last session. They'll also help you problem-solve when follow-through doesn't happen! Additionally, your coach will help you track all the strategies, tools, information, and everything you work on together in a document that you'll be able to print off and keep at the end of your time coaching.

Coaching is about meeting you where you're at and helping you get to where you want to be. Typically we focus each session around one or more specific areas you'd like to grow in. They can be ADHD specific, but they don't have to be.

Some ideas:

  • Emotional regulation
  • Motivation & task initiation
  • Maintaining healthy relationships
  • Setting boundaries
  • Managing stress, overwhelm, and burnout
  • Perfectionist tendencies
  • Routines and habits
  • Deciding what's important and what to let go of
  • Prioritizing/managing tasks and time
  • Breaking down big goals and difficult tasks

Additionally, some clients will choose to use our time just chatting and getting clarity about how ADHD is showing up in their life, or they'll ask me to sit with them while they clean out a closet or start on a task they've had difficulty starting on. You're welcome to use our time together however it'll help you most.

ADHD coaching is similar to regular life coaching, but it takes place within the lens of ADHD. Our brains function differently and learning to support and appreciate those differences is something an ADHD Coach can help you do!
